What a year what a year, and it’s all just starting off. #FoxFridays came out to be a very fun night in San Francisco. Big ups to DJ Butch for coming up to spin from Los Angeles. Always thankful to have YoungCalifornia DJ Amen on board with us. The AMB crew showed up and showed us love! Thank you to all the birthdays who celebrated with us as well.Read More
The FoxFridays team decided to bring back #FoxFest and celebrate GITOSF birthday. This man brought at least 30 beautiful Latinas with him, we’ve got the pictures to prove it! Shout out to DJ Ibarra, Maudell, and DJ ASAP for holding it down. Shouts to Derek King for celebrating his birthday, shouts to Symba for making the cameo appearance.Read More
FoxFridays was a hit for halloween. Shout out to all the special guests who came out to party, including birthday boy Kool John who even performed a few songs. Shouts to Currently USA for celebrating their annual CRNTLY Halloween with us. Major happy birthday to Kim “KP” she brought out the whole Bay Area. This party wouldn’t have been capable without my team: Lunar Jones and Gito SF. Shouts to the additional hosts: LoveRance, Precise, Lifestyle Everything, Daniel T, Sarah Lee, and Celebridee.Read More
MyMp3Pool has been featuring my remixes since I started making remixes. It’s always a pleasure to see them continually support me.Read More
Shout out to the Headliner Music Club for adding my edit to their record pool. (A tip to all of my DJ friends: you should really consider using HMC as your music pool). Only the hottest edits and remixes make it to this site, it’s an honor to have some of my work be featured.
As for the song “Juju on the Beat” if you haven’t heard or played this song yet as a DJ, you have been bullshitting the last couple months.. or you really just never go on the internet.Read More
It felt like industry night at FoxFridays! Shouts to Miles Medina, J. Espinosa, Jose Melendez, Pink Dolphin crew, Team Hennessy, Show Banga, IAMSU, Omar Kadir, John Costen, Fabes, Mario E, and many many more who came out to rock with us. This was not the party to miss out on, so much good vibes going around. Make sure you make it for the next event on October 28th (Halloween theme).Read More
We set the roof, on fire, we set the roof, on fi-yah. Sold out of bottle service tables once again, this is something we have been blessed to do for the past 4 years. It’s an honor to be able to keep the wave going this long. Shouts to everyone involved especially the folks Lunar Jones and Steven aka Gito.
It is like a dream come true for one of my remixes to catch fire. This song by Kehlani was featured on the soundtrack of the motion picture: Suicide Squad. I would like to personally thank the blogs and music distributors for backing me and helping spread this great piece. Major major major shouts to YoungCalifornia, DJCITY, HeadlinerMusicClub, MyMp3Pool, DirectMusicService, and many more.Read More
We put Lil Yachty into play in San Francisco and the crowd was insane. This wasn’t news to me, the last Lil Yachty party I spun at with Pink Dolphin had a huge response as well. Shout out to Holy Cow and the Social SF team for letting us do this. Check out all the pictures and see the response!Read More
The night was fun to say the least. It was my birthday so obviously the positive vibes were present.. but more importantly the party was great. There were so many women who came to the event, the ratio had to at least have been 5:1 girls to guys. DJ Amen, DJ Gio, and DJ Ibarra handled the music proper. The beautiful homie Mariah Bloom came out to celebrate her birthday as well. All I can really say is that I am thankful for everyone coming out (especially my friends & family), let’s keep it rocking!Read More
Shout out to the YoungCalifornia family for supporting my remix. I recently dropped an edit that I put together for Lil Uzi Vert’s “Ps and Qs” song to have an electronic feel while maintaining a hiphop bounce. This is a summer present for fans and DJs alike.
You can see the YoungCalifornia feature: HERE.Read More
Back in May I tweeted “our soft opening won’t be so soft, make sure to check out the return of FoxFridays.” After a six month hiatus trying to find the right venue and create the right team, everything finally fell into place. Our event is being held at one of the biggest and nicest venues in San Francisco, and I strongly believe we created the Justice League of promoters.
The event turned out to be a success. We sold out of tables and packed the venue out: this is what is expected at FoxFridays and has been expected for the past three years. This is the fourth installment (fourth year) of FoxFridays and we are going to keep building this brand up. Check out the pictures and lock in July 29th for the next FoxFridays event! Thank you to all the birthdays and graduates who celebrated with us.
I was invited to my first Electric Bounce House presented by 997NOW. Welcomed by the team’s leader and radio legend: Jazzy Jim. EBH4 featured the BassMent, LuckyDate, Dillion Francis, and Diplo. This was also the first time I was able to see Diplo perform as a solo act, and he tore the roof off of San Jose State University’s Event Center. With our VIP passes, we somehow managed to run into Diplo outside of his greenroom. The highlight of the entire night was to see that he tweeted me about how the Bay Area was rocking.Read More
I used to live in KoreaTown (K-Town) a subsidiary of Los Angeles, CA. Coming back to DJ in what may be the coolest venue I have ever mixed at. Apartment 503 is in a business building on the fifth floor. The whole idea of having a party that doesn’t look like a party, reminds me of the New York nightclub scene. The venue inside is covered with hand drawn art that looks comical. The DJ booth looks like a sketched boom box. The music format was to play the pop classics, which is always a good time! I really appreciate my TastyLBC family for coming through to entertain the party. Shouts to DJ Butch, Aaron Adri, Garrett, and the missing Koonce. We brought about 20 Bay Area friends in there to bring the party to another level. Special shout out to the new KTown residents who came through: Aaron Kai and Aaron Lau.Read More
For a few months now I have been on tour with rapper/producer AKA Frank. To end the season, he kicks off his first annual AKA-DAY event. The show was a success and special guests included K00lJohn, Young Bari, and the 10-year anniversary for the Diligentz (Jay Ant, Aka Frank, Prank, Damey). The crowd went bananas to hear some of the classics “Bopular” “Pinnochio” and of course their hit single that started it all, “Punk Rock.”
997NOW welcome’s Brandon Fox as the new producer of the newly syndicated BASSMENT show. This show was put together by none other than the Bay Area’s legends Jazzy Jim, DJ Erock, and Miles Medina. Taking direction from these leaders, Brandon Fox will add production expertise on top of what is already a successful show. Tune in every Friday night from 1AM-3AM as you commute back home from the nightclubs. This show will soon be played on 4 different stations across the West Coast!
The funny thing is that I played in Seattle the weekend that the Seahawks lost in the playoffs. The very next week I played in Denver while the Broncos are getting ready to play the Patriots.
The music scene is pretty legit in Denver. We played at a lounge downtown and there was a bunch of local artists. Being from the Bay Area, it is always nice to see people have a sense of pride to represent where they are from. Shout out to AKA Frank and J.Stalin for bringing me out!Read More
